Frequently Asked Questions
We recommend washing our Linen kilts on a short cycle with a temperature of no more than 30 degrees Celsius. After washing, hang the kilt to dry and when dry use a steam iron to reinforce the pleats. The best way to do this is to open out the kilt, lay it with the tartan side up on an ironing board, cover it with a kitchen towel and then iron over using a steam iron on a linen setting. Be careful to iron the pleats in the direction they were pleated (i.e. don't go against the pleat). If you have any further questions we are always happy to answer them.
For our ready to wear range, we offer a 14 day return from receipt of item, however, we do not pay for shipping of returns. We also reserve the right to refuse refunds if the item has been unduly worn and soiled or damaged.
As we are a start up and all of our custom products are made to order, so we do not accept returns on them due to hygienic and financial reasons. The onus is on you to measure correctly for custom kilts, for our great kilts the measurements for these are clearly stated in the product description.
If any item is damaged when received, we require pictures to be made immediately and shared with customer services by email. We will then be in touch regarding returns.
At present we are still a start up and so are utilising partners in Europe to fulfil our shipping orders. All shipments are insured and you will have the opportunity to track the delivery once the order is shipped. Delivery times depend on receipt of materials for production, however, we estimate delivery will occur no later than 3 months after order and within 4 weeks at the earliest.
